Jon Payne's Seafood Chowder:
1 bunch of scallions, chopped
1 potato, diced
1 clove of garlic, minced
4 cups of half and half milk
1/2 cup of Colby or Cheddar
1-2 lbs fish protein, in chunks
1 can condensed celery or mushroom soup (choose by preference)
1 can condensed potato soup.
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp
2 tbsp of Capt Rapps Chokoloskee Chipotle Seasoning
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan. Add chives, garlic, and diced potatoes.
Once sauteed,add soup, protein, and half & half. Heat on medium for 10- ish mins.
Reduce heat to simmer, add salt, pepper, and Chokoloskee Chipotle to taste. Add cheese
slowly. Stir. Cover for 15+ minutes on simmer.
Eat.
Goes well with garlic bread.
